How Cast started
Nicole Carrington, founder
I grew up making things from scratch. My mom introduced me to health food stores, herbal remedies, and the power of botanicals. She believed that what we put on and around our bodies shapes how we feel inside.
Years later, after a period of transition, I returned to those roots. I was exhausted in ways that mindset or meditation alone could not fix. I started developing blends to help steady my nervous system. When my mom passed away, Cast came into being.
Most of what existed in wellness was built around fragrance, mood, or ritual. None of it was built around how the nervous system actually works. That gap is what Cast is designed to fill.
Cast was created to support the body. To offer tools that restore physiological steadiness, support the body under stress, and create room for clarity.
Every Cast formula begins with a 16-hour herbal infusion before volatile plant molecules are layered in to activate olfactory pathways connected to nervous system regulation. Ingredient selection is driven by how the nervous system responds, not by how something smells.
Cast is 100% women-founded, built in Canada, and produced in small batches.
